Today we headed into London and went to Kensington Palace.
We walked around the gardens and saw the Albert Memorial, the Royal Albert
Hall, Princess Diana Fountain, bird statue, and Peter Pan statue. We took some
really cool pictures and it was really pretty. After walking around the gardens
we decided to go into Kensington Palace. There were 4 different sections. First
we went into the Queen’s room which was really strange with lots of weird stuff
in it but also some cool stuff. Then we went to the Kings room which was about
the same. The last two rooms were the best. First was the Princess Diana room
where there were lots of her pictures and dresses that she wore. It was really
nice. Finally was the Victoria room where you could dress up in costumes, which
of course we did, lol. And we learned a lot about Queen Victoria and Prince
Albert. When we were done looking around we got some souvenirs. Then we headed
to Oxford Circus to meet up with Ashley. We went to a pub for dinner and drinks
and had lots of laughs about the bathroom lol. When we were done and it was
getting dark, Heavens and I headed to the London Eye. It was night time so it
was all lit up which was really cool. They
also had a 4D experience at the beginning which was really neat. It was a 3D
video with special effects which was cool. Once done we headed to the London
Eye and went on it. It was all lit up which was really cool. It was hard to
take pictures but everything was so beautiful. All of London was lit up and it
was just magical being above the city like that. I loved it! It was Heavens
first time on it and my first time at night. After it was over we went home,
but stopped to get a picture in front of Big Ben all lit up! It was a great
night!
