Over the time we have spent in Exeter, we have celebrated a few Holidays. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our housemates. Everyone pitched in to bring food and Heavens did the majority of the cooking. We have a lovely meal with lots of food and dessert! YUM! Next, we went to Chelmsford for an early Christmas with Tammy, Todd, Olive, Paul, and Jack. It was nice seeing all of them and giving presents. Then we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day with Heaven's parents and brother Jonathan. We helped put their tree up and watched movies, relaxed, and ate lovely food! Finally, for New Years Eve we spent the night in, eating and hanging out and of course watching the fireworks in London on the tv. For New Years Day Heavens and I went to the Exeter racecourse to watch the horses race! We bet on a few and won some money but ended up breaking even with the betting! It was a fun day and good first experience for us. Once we finally got back to Exeter after having to wait for our bus, we decided to go watch the film The Impossible, about the Tsumani that hit Thailand. It was a good film but really made you feel bad for all those people. Then we skyped Mom, John, and Matt. We have had some lovely holidays here in Exeter.
